The host was always available. The bed was very comfy and there were hypoallergenic pillows too, requested them beforehand. Got private bathroom with a bathtub. The location was prime and incredible for us. Plus it was 10 minutes walk to York Beach.

Overall, it’s convenient base for exploring York tourist places. It has beautiful rooms and we could use an electric kettle, a microwave, and an iron.

We had an exceptional stay at Hunter's Retreat in York. The apartment and complex were immaculately clean and spacious, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, right on the Shambles and central to all attractions. The apartment was fully equipped, with a modern kitchen, comfortable furniture, and a large TV. The owners were incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. we can't wait to book again and will definitely recommend it to others.

Although our stay was fantastic, there were a few minor drawbacks. We would have appreciated clearer communication about the wifi setup, as we had to search for the router and login information.

The accommodation is conveniently located near the train station, and despite the firm bed, I really liked the apartment.

The apartment in a great central location, close to restaurants, pubs, and tourist attractions. Private parking available. Excellent communication with owners. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable seating in the living room. Large and well-appointed bathrooms. Clear instructions and easy access to the property.

We had a very comfortable Christmas, the 1 bedroom was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful and friendly.

The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable recliners and a quiet atmosphere. The best part was the location, with the excitement of the nearby old town right outside the door. Pubs and groceries were conveniently located just a few doors away, making it easy to explore and find everything we needed.

The hallways had a slight musty smell, which was a bit off-putting. Additionally, while the apartment itself was great, the surrounding area could get quite busy and noisy at times, which was a little distracting.
